DUCK Director Jamie Caliri recently wrapped production on the latest music video for The Shins called “The Rifle’s Spiral.” The song is from the band’s Port of Morrow album released through Sony Music Entertainment.

A 3D version of the music video is available on the Nintendo 3DS platform now.

Caliri once again reprises his signature technique of combining stop-motion and mixed media animation in the music video. Arc Moco’s VOLO system was the motion control camera system that Caliri and team used along with their proprietary DragonFrame software.

The winner of multiple Annie Awards, Caliri has earned notoriety for his animated TV commercials and main title sequences for companies including United Airlines.
